A small center with big intentions.
K+3 Learning Center opened in 2026 on Ford Road in Dallas to give families one place for every age, with hours that match real life.
Our story
Why we opened, and what the +3 means.
K+3 grew out of a simple frustration: most childcare closes at six, and most working parents do not. We wanted a center where a nurse coming off a shift, a parent with a rotating schedule or a family with three kids in three age groups could find one calm, well-run place that fits around their day.
We built it around two things we believe in: that children learn best when adults follow their curiosity, and that trust is earned through small, consistent details, from how a teacher greets your baby to how the classroom looks at five in the afternoon.
Our philosophy
Reggio-inspired. Creative Curriculum structured.
We blend two traditions. From Reggio Emilia we take the belief that children are capable meaning-makers who learn through many languages: words, art, movement, music, building and play. Teachers observe, listen and plan around children's real questions.
From The Creative Curriculum we take intentional teaching, defined content areas and ongoing observation-based assessment, so every developmental domain is covered across the year.
Classrooms are organized into interest areas: an art studio, blocks and construction, dramatic play, a library and writing center, a discovery area, a sensory and math area, music and movement, and outdoor time every day. Learning is made visible in photos, notes and children's own words, and shared with you.

Health and safety
Safe, clean and calm.
Secure entry
Controlled entry during the day and a pickup list you set. Only people you authorize can collect your child.
Trained staff
Teachers hold CPR and first aid certification and complete the background checks Texas requires.
Small groups
Group sizes and ratios follow the Texas Minimum Standards. Ask on your tour for the numbers in each room.
Illness and medication
A clear illness policy and written consent for any medication, so everyone stays healthier.
Clean, every day
Toys, surfaces and rest areas are cleaned and sanitized daily, and more often in infant rooms.
Emergency ready
Fire, weather and lockdown drills on a schedule, and a family notification plan for every situation.
Licensing
Licensed by the State of Texas.
K+3 Learning Center is licensed by Texas Health and Human Services Child Care Regulation and follows the Texas Minimum Standards for child care centers.
